[香港美食] 堅尼地之悠閒聚 @ Tivo (西環)

一連四天的復活節假期,身邊不少朋友也選擇外遊
我倆卻要留在香港,因為SuyiBB是沒有復活節假期的
一如以往的星期五,半天工作,放工後相約了眾食友,來到堅尼地城


遠離都市繁囂,來到開業不久的Tivo,參加薄餅製作活動,也來試試新菜式
位於電車路旁的Tivo,與中環同名的分店走着不同的路線,來一個casual dining的風格,當中菜式大都以New York style展現,以小碟的型式示人,希望客人在輕鬆的環境內一起分享各款美食

先送來的是廚師專程為我們炮製的兩款前菜
Roast kabocha squash on sour dough toast, soft ricotta, caramelized apple jam賣相美觀吸引,上面是加入了焦糖和蘋果醬的南瓜蓉,下面則塗上帶點羶香的ricotta多士
多士非常香脆,蘋果南瓜與芝士的味道挺配合的,味道濃郁又覺開胃

另一款前菜是Guacamole with a spiced California grapefruit chutney and crispy tortilla skin
牛油果蓉以原隻牛油果磨製,再加入青檸汁,辣椒及橄欖油
薄身的墨西哥薄餅tortilla,香脆輕盈,青檸汁酸酸的,也是十分開胃的前菜~

來到主菜環節,先是醒胃的Char grilled baby squid Salad
加入了少量杏仁汁的沙律菜,味道獨特
最喜歡的是炒得惹味爽口的墨魚,與沙律菜一拼吃,鮮味滿載

整餐中最欣賞的是這道Fresh Caught "Shek Tong Tsui" market prawns
用上取自附近石塘咀街市的鮮蝦,再加入蝦米炒香,甫送上已聞到陣陣誘人的鮮蝦味道
蝦肉爽口鮮甜,伴以酸酸辣辣的醬汁,更覺惹味,粒粒脆身蝦米,令口感更豐富
想不到,在這西餐廳,也可以吃到如此地道美食

一向Brussel Sprout多以伴碟的型式上,這款Mr. Tao’s quick roasted brussel sprouts, smashed hazelnuts, mustard seed vinaigrette 卻以Brussel Sprout做主角
將燈籠椒及芥末加入Brussel Sprout來炒香,吃起來沒有一丁點的苦澀
本來不太好Brussel Sprout的,也吃了好幾回哩~

近排在香港開了不少台式刈包專店,最愛的是灣仔的Bao Wow
想不到的,是這款台彎美食也能在此吃到
先來Slow cooked pork belly bun, pickled cucumber, seaweed, leek julienne內裡是肥美的西班牙豬腩肉
脂肪與肉的比例是五十五十,入口充滿油脂甘香
要趁熱吃,否則豬腩肉會變得硬身,有礙口感

另一款是我倆較為喜歡的Braised wagyu beef cheek bun, cooked with ‘kombu’, and slow pickled radish
用上牛味甚濃的澳洲榖飼牛,配以昆布及帶有少許辣味的小蘿蔔
包子香軟鬆化,又能去一點膩感,夾著富彈性的榖飼牛肉吃,簡單又美味

既然是New York Style,又怎少得薄餅的份兒?!
在這裡,究竟吃到的,會是大件多料的美式薄餅還是薄而脆的意式薄餅呢?
我倆就覺得這裡賣的是結合了兩者的特點,批底薄而脆,餡料又夠豐富
愛吃素的朋友應試試這款Whole-wheat wild mushroom pizza, alpine parmesan, goat’s cheese, fresh herbs 
薄餅上鋪滿金菇,秀珍菇及冬菇,再放上惹味的Goat cheese和Parmesan cheese
本身怕Goat cheese那陣羶味的朋友不用擔心,羶味不會太強烈,整體感覺也不膩滯

極力推介大家吃的,是這款Pizza topped with ‘Chūtoro’ style fatty tuna, pickled ginger, salmon roe, garlic aioli
先將焗好薄餅,再放上肥美的拖羅,混入薑蔥等調味料,是滿口鮮味
一改美式薄餅那飽滯的感覺,份量又不太大,可以多點幾款不同款式分享喔~






好喇,來到最刺激緊張的親手做薄餅時間!
只見大家也很用心製作,大家覺得,那一個做得最好呢???
不經不覺,吃着笑着就過了兩小時
聽說這裡的甜品也甚有水準,下次再來試試喔~
